nothing gnu here
another day and another osgrow animal! this time it was to be gnu, or wildebeest. i prefer the name gnu because it opened up a plethora of puns for me to annoy my housemates with. i won't bother you with them because they are terrible. oh, wait a second. of course i will. here are some of the pun nuggets fresh from my mind - firstly, i went with film puns, see if you can guess them with their increasing absurdity: top gnu, terminate a gnu, lord of the rings: the gnu towers, ps. i love gnu, gnuman traffic, gnu fast gnu furious, indiana jones and the last gnusade, intergnu with a vampire, a gnuetiful mind, gangs of gnu york etc.. then i went to tv programmes: have i got gnus for you, the armando iagnucci show, the mighty gnuosh, curb your engnusiasm, gnu i, dr gnu, etc.. then i went to gnusic, sorry, music: gary gnuman, the gnu young pony club, the gnu pornographers, gnuse, joanna gnusome, hadgnuken!, good gnues, gnu rave, etc.. then for some reason i just stopped.
well, no incredible recipe for today's beast, i opted for a tasty and to the point medium rare steak, accompanied by some crunchy mango and chili dressed salad and home made mega-spicy cajun potato wedges.

an absolute treat to eat i say, wasn't chewy at all and tasted gamey yet meaty. if you catch my drift. it was cooked beautifully and almost melted on the tongue and the other parts of the dish went well with it, especially the mango chili salad dressing! i didn't even season it, just cooked with olive oil and that was perfect. this certainly gets into my top ten, a pleasure.nice to eat gnu (ahh i promise that's the final pnu).

That looks gnuood enough to eat!
You are on a roll here mate. You'll be done in no time.
Just thinking, will you be sad when this is over?
i think i will be sad but feel achievement all round. and i don't think it will stop either, i will figure something else to do.. 52 animals faces in 52 weeks?
You should try Spanish wild boar "jabalĂ" for me, ordinary European farm animals don´t count!!!! So you need to eat some more animals.....
Dude, you rock with the gnu jokes, keep on goin' with them!!
