the inevitable cow

well, student loan day arrived and what better way to celebrate than to go out and have a really massive meal at a really nice pub, the malt shovel in uxbridge, sat next to the canal having a tasty pint of london pride. and also a lot of fun to actually have someone else do the cooking for us this time! duck was on offer, but i opted for the steak, adding cow to the strike count.i chose it medium rare, as i always used to do, and it came with some seasoned chips, salad, onion rings and a nice grilled tomato. i gave it some extra kick with some mayonnaise and some whole grain mustard - probably the greatest mustard there ever was.bloody spot on i tell you, and followed up with granny apple and caramel crumble with custard.
